William B. Choi, MBA, CEO & Founder is an award winning entrepreneur and an expert in Carbon Finance and Environmental Sustainability. William was formerly a Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and advised many startups and early stage businesses, and still serving as a Board member of a number of those companies. As a leader and advocate for environmental sustainability and management for 9 years, he has been involved with innovative proposals and revisions of new environmental management action plans in the natural resources in Canada. He has also been involved with creating patents and won awards for his innovations and opening new markets. William was the co-recipient of The New-Canadian Entrepreneur Award and was also nominated for The Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award directly by The Business Development Bank of Canada. William's new market penetration also won him North America’s first international award at a prestigious global competition in Brussels, Belgium, two years in a row for product innovation.
William was a founding member of a number associations such as the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Toastmasters Club, and is currently the Co-Founder & Executive Director of The Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) Korea Chapter, and also serves as the President of The Climate Bonds Initiative Korea.
William graduated from St. Georges' School in Vancouver, BC, and earned his BA Honours degree at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He later earned his MBA from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, in International Management, completing his studies as a Research Fellow at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. William is well versed in environmental management and carbon markets through years of formal training and experience, and is currently in the Advanced Carbon Finance & Analytics Programme at The London Business School. William is an active volunteer in the community.
